The Moffatts

Another band of brothers, because of course!

Scott (March 1983), and triplet brothers Bob, Clint & Dave (March 1984) - that's right, within 11 months mam and pops had 4 baby boys in their hands. One more and they'd have actually run out of hands. Bob and Clint are identical, and Dave is fraternal. Aside from the years they had different haircuts (Bob's hair was always the longest), don't ask me how to tell them apart.

Following in the footsteps of their singing star mother, Darlene, and not at all pushed and put down by their macho man father, Frank, the boys stared singing very early on, after innocently singing in the mall and catching the attention of pretty much every passer by, because I mean, 4 year olds singing, how can't you. The boys had odd gigs, videos, various TV and Telethon performances for quite a few years, including a 1992 album sold at their fan club, which got so much mail they ended up having to use a computer - imagine that!

In 1995 they got their first big record deal, and released a self titled country album, because they were good, innocent, angel children, and that kind of music appealed to everyone, unlike rock.

So of course, by puberty they turned around and released rock-ish music, "no more of that chipmunk stuff" - Scott Moffatt.

The brothers released 4 official albums until the break up in 2001, which had nothing at all to do with Dave coming out (bless his heart).

The boys have been parts of various musical groups and projects over the years. Recently they toured parts of Asia in a farewell Moffatts tour - Scott, Bob and Clint together, and Dave by himself :(

Then just now they've gone and released a single together. Do we get to say "MOF-FATTS BACK ...ALRIGHT" yet?
